I'm Nick Kaufman. Krummen Labs is the name I build under.
Most of my work sits in the back office, on the paperwork somebody has to file and nobody enjoys. Certified payroll. Compliance records. The forms that hold up a payment until every line is right. It is unglamorous, it is usually done by hand in a spreadsheet, and it is a strange place to find almost no decent software.
So that is where I spend my time. I pick one narrow, tedious job, talk to the people already stuck doing it, and build the smallest thing that makes it less awful.
